Hello from Young Fives!

 

My name is Mariah Bauman and this is my fifth year teaching, with all of those years being at Abbot.  I grew up in Ann Arbor, attended Ann Arbor Public Schools, and am so glad to be teaching with our All-Star team.  I love teaching and learning in Young Fives because of the students' curiosity and enthusiasm!

 

I earned my B.A. in Environmental Studies from Denison University, and went on to attend the University of Michigan and earn my M.A. in Elementary Education/teaching certification.

 

I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my family, especially my nieces, nephew, and my cat, Rosie.
