Hi, my name is Christia "Tia" Butler. I am the 3^rd-5^th Grade Resource Room Teacher/Teacher Consultant at Abbot Elementary. This is my fourteenth year in education.  I have  a BS in Special Education and a dual MS in Curriculum/Instruction and Educational Leadership. Prior to Ann Arbor, I worked with kids from all grades and levels, PreK to 12^th. When not in school I enjoy travel, kayaking, camping, playing roller derby and CrossFit. I love spending time with my two kitties, my pug and my two beautiful nieces. I am an alumni of Michigan State University and a HUGE Spartans Fan!!
