I have been a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in Ann Arbor Public Schools at the Preschool and Family Center since 2015. I have supported many of the classrooms here at Westerman including general education and special education rooms. I also currently provide community speech and language services individually and in SLP/OT groups. I love my job and the connections I am able to build with all of the children and families I work with. I am lucky to be a part of the Westerman team; it is rewarding to work with a group of people who all have a passion for helping children learn, grow and thrive. 

As a child, I lived in Naperville, IL, and then Saline, MI. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and my Master’s degree from Western Michigan University. I now live in Ann Arbor with my husband and our one-year-old daughter. 

I have loved working with students and families at The Preschool & Family Center for the last 15 years. Prior to working for AAPS, I worked with Head Start, Elementary, Middle & High School students through private practice and  in California, Willow Run and Lincoln Consolidated Schools.  I get much joy from seeing students learn and grow as I have had from raising my two daughters.

Hi, my name is Kim Ambrozaitis and I’ve been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 30 years. This is my 5th year with Ann Arbor Public Schools.

 I volunteer with the Washtenaw County 4-H Horse Board and Ann Arbor Skyline Equestrian team. I enjoy listening to music, reading and spending time with my children, ages 10 and 14, watching movies and traveling throughout Michigan.
I am so fortunate to be able to build partnerships with families and teachers and help our preschool students grow in their learning and communication skills.
