I’m pleased to spend the year with you in math! Algebra is my favorite! A little background: I grew up in Midlothian, Virginia, and have lived in several mid-Atlantic states. I have a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and managed commercial construction projects as a first career. Upon earning an MA in Teaching from Towson University, I taught 6th and 7th grades in Harford County, Maryland. After Mr. Bednar’s job moved us to Ann Arbor, I stayed home with our two boys (13 and 9) until they were both students at STEAM. This is my 4th year at STEAM. When we have free time, my family enjoys exploring our National Parks, watching and playing soccer, baking, and reading.`
